Trendlines monetises its investments; eyes increased exposure among investors, partners

David Todd Dollinger, co-chairman and co-CEO of The Trendlines Group, is constantly looking for ways to raise its profile, especially among potential investors and partners who may want to develop relationships with its investee companies. The bigger the following of its investee companies, the more likely shares in Trendlines will perform.

That is why Israeli-based Trendlines chose to do a roadshow in Asia this past week. “We think this is a great opportunity for investors to understand Trendlines, says Dollinger. “We are easiest to understand, I think, through the voices of our companies, to hear what they are doing, to see whom we have chosen to invest in, and to understand how we support the companies.”

Steve Rhodes, co-chairman and co-CEO of the group, echoes that view. “The main asset is the value of our portfolio companies. Yet, it’s difficult for the investor to get a sense of what the value of that asset really is, beyond the financial statements. We felt that by coming to Singapore, together with some of the companies, is a way to really let the market, in a sense, touch and feel the product,” Rhodes says.
