Israel has earned its well-deserved reputation as the “start-up nation.” In its nearly 65 years, the country has learned very well how to do more with less, a challenge that continues to foster resourcefulness and form a natural foundation for innovation. Nowhere is the creative, entrepreneurial spirit more apparent than in the numerous early-stage companies supported by the nation’s 22 government-licensed technology incubators. In both the medical and agricultural fields, we are faced with problems that require forward-thinking and urgent solutions.
