3 medical portfolio companies win at IIA event

CONGRATULATIONS! Three Trendlines Medical portfolio companies — ApiFix, Gordian Surgical, and Magdent — were among the 10 winning life science companies at the Israel Innovation Authority’s China Roadshow Networking Event. The companies will participate in a China road show in November.

CONGRATULATIONS! ApiFix received approval to begin marketing the ApiFix scoliosis treatment system in Australia. In other news … the Company closed a Spanish distribution agreement … Company managers will attend the annual  Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) meeting in Philadelphia, 5-8 September.

 Vessi Medical is our newest portfolio company. The company is involved in cryotherapy for bladder illnesses. Eyal Kochavi is Vessi’s CEO.

Last month, surgeons used Gordian Surgical‘s TroClose1200 in numerous post-marketing procedures at the Weill/Cornell Hospital and at New York Presbyterian Hospital. In other news … Gordian is now on Instagram.

IN THE MEDIA Escala Medical was mentioned in “Can stem cells fix weakened pelvic floor?” (Hadassah Magazine).
