Medical Device Production Engineer (NPI), Fidmi Medical

Description

The Fidmi Medical medical device production engineer (NPI) is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating ongoing products and process development programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Providing technical guidance, assessment, and execution in the development, assembly, and test engineering of ongoing products, including manufacturing, cost analysis, and documentation.
  • Establishing, managing, and maintaining production files, including —
    • drawings (detailed and assembled),
    • production technology, fixtures, machining tools, raw materials
    • composition and documentation of work procedures
    • documentation of engineering processes (routing sheets, instructions for engineering change orders [ECOs] from quality specifications), processing specifications
    • supplier lists

Skills & Experience

  • B.Sc., mechanical, industrial, or biomedical engineering
  • At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in engineering and NPI in the medical device industry
  • Experience in CAD (SolidWorks)
  • Experience with injection molding and other manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with subcontractors
  • Excellent English, including writing documentation
