In 2011, we created Trendlines Labs to invent medical technology and products to serve unmet needs. Trendlines Labs capitalizes on The Trendlines Group's long-standing relationships with global leaders and decision makers in the medical industry, and combines proven experience in research, innovation, and program management.

With input from Israel-based hospitals and global key opinion leaders, the experienced Trendlines Labs team originates ideas for both internal and external use. Some ideas we develop into businesses we invest in. Other ideas are licensed to strategic partners, such as major medical device companies that seek new products to expand their portfolios and revenue streams. So far, in 2012, Trendlines Labs has transferred eight new patents to multibillion dollar medical device companies.
Our expert team is hand-picked from the worlds of science, medicine, R&D, and industry to bring to life ideas that will become instruments for healing.

 Yosi Hazan, CEO, Trendlines Labs
Yosi Hazan brings considerable experience in global organization general management (GM) and global marketing. He held several executive positions in engineering and has more than 25 years of experience in different markets, including military and semiconductor capital equipment and medical devices. Prior to joining The Trendlines Group, Yosi was GM at Cognifit and Biosense Webster (a J&J company). Previously, he served as a business unit manager at KLA-Tencor.
Yosi holds an M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

 Avshalom Shenhav, Ph.D., Medical Device System Engineer
In addition to a Ph.D. in bio-medical engineering from the Technion, Avshalom has 15 years of experience in medical device development, with a specialty in system engineering and algorithm development.

 Vladimir Takhlial, M.Sc., Mechanical Engineer
With 20 years of experience in R&D programs, Vladimir previously worked for Johnson & Johnson, Israel.

 Uri Arnin, Concept Development
Experienced inventor. Founder and CTO of Impliant Inc. and Spine21 Ltd. Founder, ApiFix.
